I have several bra issues, and here is how the BreastNest addressed them. First, I am six feet tall, and I was concerned that this product would attempt to place my breasts somewhere up near my shoulders. I have always had to lengthen bra straps all the way, and sports bras were an item of torture wherein my breasts would fall out the bottom. The BreastNest leaves my breasts where they grow. What that would mean for a shorter person, I don't know.Second, I subscribe to the theory that bras are responsible for a great deal of the breast cancer that exists, putting pressure on the lymphatic system so that it can't drain. (I believe the books Dressed to Kill and Get It Off! address this, although I have not read them). For this reason, I have gone braless most of my life. However, now that I resemble the Saggy Baggy Elephant, that's kind of an embarrassing look. Even I have succumbed to cultural pressure. My solution has mostly been to layer a couple of extra shirts on when going out, but now that I live in southern Arizona, that doesn't work so much.Leading me to my third issue. Bra bands drive me NUTS! A couple of hours in a bra and I am in horrible, itchy pain, scratching under there until I bleed, sometimes. I have tried cotton and silk bras, thinking that the problem might be latex, but, whatever, I cannot wait to tear those things off. I've tried powder, lotion, and cortisone creme. The only "cure" is two days off for every two hours on. I think perhaps that I am a Highly Sensitive Person (www.hsperson.com). Labels in clothes drive me nuts. If I wear a t-shirt to bed, I always wear it inside out so the seams won't scratch me. The teeniest piece of sand in my bed feels like... well, not a boulder, but for sure a pebble. I read another review in which the person mentioned that she wore her BreastNest inside out, so I felt confident that that would be a possibility if the stitching bothered me.So here's how it went: First, the labels in the side seam had to go. The one at the back of the neck does not bother me at all. I was pleased to see that the band under the breasts is sewn so that the seam is to the outside so that there is no seam against the body. When I first got it, I was still sore from wearing a bra the day before. I was able to wear it for eight hours, but the place where the elastic overlapped bothered me. I was also pleased to find that if I want to wear a conventional bra, I can put it on over the BreastNest and it provides a few extra layers of protection. I tried wearing my BreastNest inside out, but I find that the stitching is more hidden wearing it right side out. Another feature I like is the skirt, which is plenty long enough to go down into my pants without popping out, and it prevents the waistband of the pants from chafing me. Bonus!I have wondered at times what the point of the BreastNest is, since it pretty much feels like not wearing a bra. I can see it's use in the summer and for a sleeping bra to keep heat rash at bay. It's winter now, so that's not much of a problem, and I think that the slight band irritation would make its use for sleeping not so appealing for me myself, but I think I should try it. It is also great for hiding the headlights, and actually, I guess it does reduce the floppiness that I find so embarrassing in public. And if I do wear a bra on top of it, it prevents the between-the-breast sweatiness. Whereas a regular bra is a ten on the drive-me-nuts scale, the BreastNest is a one or two. If there happen to be any other Princesses And The Pea out there, I can vouch for the BreastNest. I hope someone out there has been helped by this review.Ok. Being a 38 DDD, I'm used to paying a good amount for a decent bra, so I gave this a stab since it had so many great reviews and I am SO sick of the chafing, constricting misery that comes with wearing a "supportive" bra and with the sweaty, pendulous discomfort that comes with wearing no bra. I am THRILLED that I gave the breast nest a shot!! Two days after I got the first one in the mail, I ordered a second one and will be getting at least one more (if not a couple more). In the past couple of years, I had been experiencing awful chafing on my upper belly from my normal (and expensive!) underwire bras. Wearing a tighter bra wasn't an option as, not only would it just generally stink to be even more constricted, but every bra I've ever owned just got looser over time no matter how snug they were at first. I finally just decided to go with comfort over trying to keep them lifted unnaturally high which only caused permanent skin discoloration and chafing scars on my sides, shoulders, and belly. The breast nest is insanely comfortable. When I first purchased it, I was certain that I would only wear it around the house (with a tshirt on top of it) and for sleeping. I felt awkward at first around my spouse since it accentuates the individual breasts rather than obscuring them into some barbie like rounded hump or some sport bra like uni-boob. However, my spouse wants me to be comfortable and actually claims that it looks kinda sexy lol. After only 1 day, I was wearing it with no shirt over it around the house regularly. I have upper arm and general body image issues and am overweight so it's pretty unheard of for me to wear anything sleeveless even in my own home, but this thing is amazing and such a relief! It is so comfortable and natural feeling that I've even started wearing it out and about to run errands and whatnot. My breasts do certainly look less high and mighty than they do in my usual $70 underwire bras, but they are not swinging wildly or handing down to my belly button like they would if I were wearing no bra or an off the rack camisole, and they are separated and natural looking without being attention drawing. Basically, the breastnest has seriously changed my life and the anxiety I used to feel when I had to 'get dressed' and struggle into a binding bra then grin and bear the chafing and discomfort as the day wore on is no more. If there are any drawbacks, I would say that the material (which is so soft and wonderful) does get stretchy quickly and I have to wash it at least every other day if I don't want to be pulling it up in front constantly. I got a Large, and I am 5"2, 185 lbs and normally wear a 38 DDD bra. It fits perfectly on my body, though the cups / bra part could possibly be just a hint smaller for additional support. Also, the material 'pills' easily, so it's not exactly pretty after a few wears and washes, but it's not meant to be sexy lingerie. I highly, highly recommend the BreastNest for so many reasons including allowing women who have been suffering in an attempt to minimize their large breasts and/or make them appear unnaturally high and firm to breath a sigh of relief and be proud of who they are naturally and be healthy.Soft and very comfortable. Needed to go to another bra sizing site to work out calculation for cup size (that was a revelation!). Sizing was accurate to measurements given. Have two, will buy more when my size becomes available again. Expensive, but I do value comfort a lot. I'd be happy to wear these bras every day. The oh-so-comfortable wide shoulder straps do show with scoop necked tops, but for the comfort I am usually prepared to live with that. Would only buy the Breeze style because of warm Brisbane climate.
