I like everything about these cups. The plastic is rigid and the outer surface holds a grip. Easy to clean in the dishwasher and the rounded bottom insures nothing gets stuck in the bottom. The color is slightly paler than pictured but the pastel shades are pretty. They stack nicely without getting stuck together.I don't like to use glass for every day with pets in the house because I worry about breakage. I also don't have to switch glasses to go outside. These look like glass and are a great quality. I highly recommend them.These glasses are nice looking, sturdy and easily stack one inside the other. Exactly what I was looking for!I use these cups every day! I appreciate that they are quality made and are BPA free. I like that they don’t have a weird odor/taste thst some plastic cups have. They are pretty too. They are great for drinking beverages poolside. They are easy to clean and dishwasher safe. I am very happy with them.I have the pastel 8 pack of these and I love them for our everyday cups. I love the colors. They are pretty neutral and have a retro look. They are very sturdy and look nice. They hold up very well to tons of use and machine dish washing. I'm definitely getting another set or two. I expect these to last for a very long time.I poured boiling hot water into one of these cups and it didn't warp or soften. I used oven mitts to squeeze the cup while it had hot water in it, and it didn't give. I filled the cup about halfway. At 64°F ambient temperature, the cup took a little over a minute to grow hot to the touch. The cup was cool to the touch above the water line. It stayed unbearably hot to the touch (as in I could not hold the cup for longer than a few seconds at a time) on the bottom half of the cup (where the water was) for about 3-5 minutes and then I was able to hold the cup with the hot water in it. After 6 minutes, I tried to take a sip but the water was still boiling hot. The cup seems to function like a typical ceramic mug. When the hot water cooled to a temperature where I could sip the water, the water tasted just fine and there was no odor.I put a cup in the freezer for 1 hour, filled it with ice and water, and slammed it onto my counter top to see if it would shatter. The cup didn't change texture from the cold, and it was just fine.I would go as far as freezing a wet cup, and then adding hot boiling water to it to see what would happen, but even normal cups can't take the abuse. For some reason, I feel like it would pass the test anyway. I'm just going to enjoy these cups while they last.This plastic cup set comes in a quantity of eight(two each of: pink, yellow, orange, blue/purple). Although it says they are BPA-FREE, and can be used in the microwave, I won't be using them there. Any kind of plastic can leach into food or drink if microwaved. It is also ok to put into the freezer and dishwasher they say, which is convenient. I haven't tested that yet though. These are perfect for summer around the pool, used by kids, etc. as they are shatterproof. They hold 18oz. each and are approx. 6" tall. Quite a bargain for eight cups at less than $3 each!I love the colors and the sizes of these cups. I was looking for a set to use in my kitchen that weren't glass, large, easy to clean and just colorful. These fit the bill for all the above. I would 100% recommend these to anyone looking for a safer alternative to glass, especially with kids.
