After reading a lot of reviews I was expecting to find some broken ones or some with damages or manufacturing defect. NOT AT ALL! I was pleasantly surprised. The items came rather quickly and very well packaged and protected, not a scratch. NO defect whatsoever and a very nice hue of blue. Maybe I got lucky? Me not think so. Can't really understand all the negative reviews but who knows?First thing I did was to put these in the dishwasher, and they came out beautifully.I bought these when looking for brioche molds, no luck here due to always wrong size and oven temp limitation, there was even a vendor that's selling 10 pcs made of steel that never even bothered to answer my question about max temperature. I am going to make chocolate lava cakes and need a temp. of 500 degrees F. I'll update on that if they fail otherwise not.So, kudos to MFG Dowan and the vendor (could be the same) for making such nice ramekins and at a good price. Proof here that NOT everything made in China is bad and/or of low quality.I might get a second set so I would be able to make 12 desserts.UPDATE!I ordered a second set and was NOT disappointed in the least. Second set was wrapped as well as the first one, again, without a scratch or defect or blemish. I could not be happier. I would recommend these ?.Fabulous dishes nice quality great colourAs shown in the picture the dishes were not the same colour, it stated they were blue they were a miserable colourgood quality,very nice colour, multifunctionality , you can cook savoury, also cakes in these nice ramekinsI needed a set of ramekins for crème brûlée and found this. I have to say, ramekins in the past were horrible for cupboard space. Finding a set that actually stacks in a minimal space has been great. With already packed cupboard, these are a nice find.The good - they look nice, have worked for four batches of dessert so far without issues, clean up easy, and are a good size for personal servings.The bad? Advertised as 6oz is misleading. I'm doing a roughly 2 cup cream recipe, with eggs, flavouring, and sugar might equal 2.5 cups tops... Most recipes say you need 4 4oz ramekins. I filled all 6 of these, leaving a 1/4" at the top for ease of handling. So I don't believe they are as large as advertised.ConclusionAm I disappointed? NO! It means more servings per batch and more happy people at my supper table when I say I made dessert... They stack, they work, they look cute, and they come clean. What more could you ask for?
